7th International Conference on Innovative Trends in Information Technology Icitiit 2026, 2026
Cyberbullying has become one of the most serious issues on social media, especially because of its emotional and psychological effects on young people. Many existing detection techniques still find it difficult to understand the hidden meanings, sarcasm, and informal expressions that appear in abusive language online. In this paper, a hybrid deep learning model is proposed that brings together several methods to improve the accuracy of cyberbullying detection. The approach uses BERT for understanding context, CNN for identifying short text patterns, and Bi-LSTM with attention to learn long-term relationships in sentences. Along with these, some manually selected features such as sentiment, punctuation, and capitalization patterns are also added. All these features are then combined to make a strong prediction model. To deal with imbalance in the dataset, Focal Loss is applied and different learning rates are used for proper finetuning. The model was tested on a dataset of social media posts and achieved 93.07% accuracy, 93.17% F1-score, 91.87% precision, and 94.51 % recall, with an ROC-AUC score of 0.9742. These results show that by combining different feature types can significantly improve the performance of cyberbullying detection systems and help in developing more reliable content moderation tool.

In democracy like India, public opinion is a significant factor in the formulation of government policies and measure. Understanding people's feelings and concerns about certain aspects of government behaviour is important for governance and policy development. Traditional sentiment analysis methods often fail to capture the crucial sentiments and emotions expressed by the public. ABSA deals with three main functions: aspect extraction, category detection and sentiment classification. By exploring the details of each function, we aim to explain the process of understanding the public opinion of ABSA, its importance and feasibility for the government of India. We propose a model using BERT+CRF for aspect extraction, RoBERTa with attention for aspect category detection, and DistilBERT+GRU with attention for sentiment classification, ensuring precise and context-aware analysis. The proposed a model obtain 0.914 accuracy, 0.937 precision, 0.935 recall, 0.915 f1 score, and 0.874 AUC-ROC.

Fake news has grown to be a significant concern in the age of social media and online information sharing. False news detection is a difficult problem requiring a multidisciplinary approach combining natural language processing, machine learning, and social network research. This paper provides a short review of the area by classifying the research on false news identification into three categories: feature-based approaches, machine learning methods, and social network analysis methods. Further, we have applied machine learning algorithms to identify false news. We look at various feature types used for false news identification, including textual features, metadata features, and social context features. Our proposed system performed well with a classification accuracy of 99.70%. Furthermore, we delineate prospective remedies for the issues and constraints of existing fake news detection methods.

2nd IEEE International Conference on Iot Communication and Automation Technology Icicat 2024, 2024
The process of creating literary descriptions or captions for images based on their content is referred to as automatic picture captioning. This machine-learning task combines natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision to generate the captions. Currently, auto photo captioning is a highly advanced and rapidly evolving research field, with new methods being proposed regularly to improve results. However, there remain challenges to achieving human-level performance. This analysis aims to build on the findings from previous research to push the boundaries further. In this study, we extracted features from images using the VGG16 model of CNN, which serves as an encoder, along with the Flickr dataset. A Long Short-Term Memory acts as a decoder, using the built-in lexicon and image features to generate captions for the photographs. The extracted image features are converted into a feature vector, which is then input to the LSTM to create representations that correspond to the visual content of the image. The captions describe various aspects of the image, such as the object's name, location, colour, dimensions, features, and surroundings. BLEU (1 to 4) is the most used evaluation metric in all studies. The LSTM algorithm combined with CNN has also been found to outperform RNN combined with CNN. We identified that the encoder-decoder architecture and the attention mechanism are two of the most promising methods for implementing this model. Utilizing both approaches together can significantly advance the project.

This study introduces TraySmart, a cutting-edge Internet of Things (IoT) tool meant to completely transform the effectiveness and administration of tray systems in industrial, food court, and cafeteria environments. TraySmart employs cutting-edge technologies like weight sensing, RFID tag reading, temperature monitoring, NFC for user interaction, and $\\mathrm{Wi}-\\mathrm{Fi} /$ Bluetooth for data transmission to tackle the widespread issues associated with tray management, such as inefficient operations, concerns about food safety, and less-than-ideal user experiences. The weight-sensing feature of the device makes it possible to identify objects on the tray and monitor the contents of the tray in real time. Reading RFID tags makes identifying and tracking items easier, improving inventory control and lowering loss. Food safety and quality assurance depend on food items maintaining their ideal temperatures, which is ensured via temperature monitoring. Furthermore, NFC technology enhances the eating experience by enabling users to engage with the smartphone for payments or feedback. The communication options on the device guarantee smooth data transfer to a central system, facilitating thorough data analysis and system optimization. This essay covers the creativity, design, and development of the TraySmart prototype, the difficulties faced, and the strategies used in the process. The report assesses TraySmart’s effect on operational efficiency, food safety standards, and customer happiness by carefully examining the outcomes of pilot testing. With its scalable solution to improve tray management systems, TraySmart marks a significant leap in the application of IoT technology in the food service and industrial sectors. The results highlight how IoT gadgets like TraySmart have the power to revolutionize operational procedures and service delivery, establishing a new benchmark for innovation in the industry.

International Journal of Innovative Technology and Exploring Engineering, 2019
Anomaly (outlier) detection is plays very significant role in ESN based monitoring application using on large data used for biomedical and defence. Wireless Sensor network monitor environmental parameters (temperature, humidity, pressure, vibration etc). Group of sensor nodes forms a (WSN) and observations collected from these sensor produces low data quality and reliability due to the limited energy, memory, computation capability and bandwidth. The dynamic environment of network and roughness of the working condition are also responsible to generate inaccuracy in measurements. In this paper, an approach for outliers detection based entropy value of received sensor voltages is applied using KNN prediction model .The algorithm development and analysis involves a real time database generated on 14 sets of MICA2 wireless sensor kit with anomaly inserted by real time motion based intrusion in the lab by volunteers from Intel Berkeley lab. On each sensor data pair segmentation is applied by fixed window size in order get large outliers’ measurements training dataset. The analysis demonstrates the measurement accuracy in detection of number of outliers that its 86%. Moreover, the algorithm also provides an analysis in terms of impact of variation in distance types and number of nearest neighbours in the KNN prediction model. This work is helpful in the application in the situations where high amount of noise or distortions are present. The outlier part from distorted data can be figured out and recollected to enhance application accuracy.
