B Suresh Lal
B Suresh Lal is a professor and head of the Department of Economics, dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences & Arts, and director of the Centre for Distance and Online Education at Kakatiya University, Warangal, Telangana, India. He teaches postgraduate-level courses and directs a team of doctoral scholars in development economics. He has 29 years of experience in teaching and research. Prof. Lal is a reputed scholar in development economics, health economics, and the economics of tribal studies. He serves as editor of the International Journal of Environment and Development. He has to his credit 25 books (11 authored, 14 edited) and 135 articles in international peer-reviewed and Scopus journals. He completed six research projects, mentored 20 PhD scholars and holds 05 patents.
