Jennifer Oliveira Melo
Master’s student in Biodiversity and Health (IOC/Fiocruz), conducting research on respiratory viruses in Antarctic seabirds, with a focus on Influenza A and Coronaviruses. Associate researcher at the Laboratory of Respiratory, Exanthematous, Enteric and Emerging Viruses (LVRE), a reference center for the Brazilian Ministry of Health and the WHO. Veterinarian graduated from UFRRJ, with international academic mobility at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (Portugal). Has experience in virology, parasitology, epidemiology, and public health, with international publications, participation in scientific projects, organization of technical-scientific events, and teaching short courses.

Veterinarian, Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ), with international academic mobility at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD), Portugal. Master’s student in Biodiversity and Health at the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (IOC/Fiocruz), with research focused on respiratory viruses in Antarctic seabirds.
