  • The role of CO-PO mapping in NBA accreditation assessments: Enhancing educational quality and outcomes
    N. Krishnamoorthy, J. Chandrasekar, Mohd Saqib, P. R. Therasa, C. S. Sundar Ganesh, S. Boopathi
Hispanic Leadership in Higher Education, 2024
The alignment of Course Outcomes (CO) with Program Outcomes (PO) is pivotal in the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) assessments, ensuring educational programs meet stringent quality standards. This chapter explores the critical role of CO-PO mapping in enhancing educational outcomes by fostering a structured and systematic approach to curriculum design, delivery, and assessment. Through detailed analysis, we examine how CO-PO mapping provides clear guidelines for educators, aligns teaching methodologies with desired competencies, and facilitates continuous improvement in academic programs. By linking course-level objectives with overarching program goals, this process aids in identifying gaps, ensuring compliance with NBA criteria, and promoting accountability. The chapter also discusses the benefits of CO-PO mapping for stakeholders, including students, faculty, and institutions, highlighting its significance in producing graduates equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their professional careers.

  • Optimal Bandwidth Utilization Techniques for IoT Device Networks using Edge Computing
Dankan Gowda V, G. Vijayakumar, J. Chandrasekar, Shekhar R, KDV Prasad, Senthil Kumar C
2024 4th Asian Conference on Innovation in Technology Asiancon 2024, 2024
The IoT devices have persisted on growing at a very fast pace and this has proven very challenging in managing the network bandwidth. This paper spins the new concept of increasing the IoT networks bandwidth by adopting the edge computing strategies. It also offers data processing near the sources which reduces the load on the central servers and cuts down data transfer requirements. The usage of the Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation algorithm in the proposed method also enhances the priority of the imperative data and scales up the transmission rates according to the network status. The number of data units achieve higher values, the latency is less and overall, better results have been obtained for the total network performance. Consequently, the results obtained presented pathways through which the bandwidth challenge in IoT could be addressed by means of edge computing to enhance IoT capacity in the corresponding surroundings.
