Pursuing sustainable development goals (SDGs) through integrating the role of Zakat and its contribution in Islamic Finance: Evidence From Indonesia Laily Nur Asyifa, Nasrul Fahmi Zaki Fuadi, Muhammad Hasbi Zaenal, Saekhu Innovative Ventures and Strategies in Islamic Business, 2024 Zakat, an integral component of the Five Pillars of Islam, functions not alone as a religious duty but also as a means to promote community well-being and foster economic progress. The objective of this research is to examine the integration of zakat into Indonesia's efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Insights were collected from zakat management organizations and sharia financial companies through the utilization of qualitative approaches, such as structured interviews and text analysis. The results demonstrate a substantial increase in the collection of zakat in Indonesia, highlighting its capacity to tackle socio-economic issues and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Zakat has a diverse range of functions, including reducing poverty and fostering business and education. To enhance the impact of zakat on SDGs, it is suggested to enhance digital literacy and promote collaborative networks. This research offers valuable insights on the utilization of zakat as a driving force for sustainable development in Indonesia.
Exploring Public Perceptions of Sharia Securities Crowdfunding: A Case Study From Indonesia Johan Arifin, Nasrul Fahmi Zaki Fuadi, Refi Agustina, Chantika Khoirunnisa, Reza Putri Maharani Digitalization of Islamic Finance, 2024 This research aims to assess public attitudes towards a novel investing approach known as Islamic securities crowdsourcing, drawing on established context. Researchers employed the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) methodology to maintain this viewpoint. This research is based on the integrated UTAUT. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression models in SPSS. The primary findings indicate that Performance Expectancy, Social Influence, and Facilitating Conditions strongly influence an individual's inclination to invest in securities crowdsourcing. Effort Expectancy does not significantly influence the decision to invest in stocks crowdsourcing. The results indicate that cooperation between the government and securities crowdfunding institutions is essential for establishing a well-organized investment environment and enhancing sharia financial literacy. This study enhances sharia financial literacy in securities crowdfunding and offers an overview of these institutions in the advancement of securities crowdfunding.
