Associate Professor IV at the Federal University of Southern Bahia (UFSB), she is a full advisor in the Postgraduate Program in Education at the Faculty of Education of the University of São Paulo (FEUSP). She is the Institutional Coordinator of the Teaching Initiation Program (PIBID-Capes) at UFSB and Coordinator of Networked Education at the Pro-Rectorate for Academic Management of the University. She was vice-coordinator of the Interdisciplinary Bachelor's Degree in Languages ​​and their Technologies at the Sosígenes Costa Institute of Humanities, Arts and Sciences (IHAC-CSC) from 2024 to 2025 and coordinator of the Interdisciplinary Bachelor's Degree in Languages ​​and their Technologies at the Institute of Humanities, Arts and Sciences of the Paulo Freire Campus (IHAC-CPF) in 2017. She is the leader of the Society, Education and University Research Group (SEU/UFSB) and vice-leader of the Languages ​​Research Group (FE-USP) and of the Research Group "Reading as a Game" (UNIFESP).

EDUCATION

She holds a degree in German and Portuguese Literature from the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Social Sciences of USP (FFLCH), a teaching degree in Portuguese Language from FEUSP, and a master's and doctorate in Language and Education from the same institution, with research on literary reading practices of teachers and students in basic education.
