Fernando Eduardo de Souza is a Brazilian mathematics educator, researcher, and PhD candidate in Teaching and History of Science and Mathematics at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC).
He holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics Education from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Universidade Nove de Julho (UNINOVE).
Since 2001, he has worked as a mathematics teacher in Basic Education, with experience in middle school, high school, and higher education. He currently teaches Mathematics at Colégio Internacional EMECE.
His academic and professional interests include Mathematics Education, teacher professional development, algebraic language, active learning methodologies, hybrid learning, educational technologies, and curriculum development.
He has also worked for more than a decade in higher education, teaching Calculus, Mathematics, and related subjects in Engineering, Architecture, and Teacher Education programs.
