I have been a professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Ceará (formerly CEFET-Ce) since 1994. I was a professor in the Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering courses at the University of Fortaleza (Unifor) from 2000 to 2003. I have experience in research and teaching in Electrical Engineering, with emphasis on linear filters, electronics, numerical methods, and digital signal processing. My main research topics include telecommunication systems simulation, analog and digital electronics, active filters, and adaptive filtering. I teach or have taught courses in numerical methods, digital signal processing, linear systems, electricity, analog electronics, scientific methodology, communication systems, linear systems, and differential equations in the Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Telematics Technology programs.
EDUCATION
I have technical training in telecommunications (1988, ETFCE – currently IFCE), a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará (1992), a master’s degree (1998, Linse Lab) and a doctorate (2008, GPqCom Lab) in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina.
