Improving wireless data efficiency through the development of terahertz antennas with unique photonic crystal air holes Pandian Ramanathan, Sathish Kumar Danasegaran, Lalithakumari Swaminathan, Rajalakshmi Gopalakrishnan, Neeththi Aadithiya Balakrishnan Frequenz, 2025 Two important performance measures in wireless communication are data rate and bandwidth. It is necessary to adjust wireless technology to achieve the highest possible data rate. Terahertz (THz) frequency is increasingly being used in a variety of applications because to its non-ionizing properties. THz technology can achieve high data rates of up to Tera bits per second (Tbps). The proposed antenna incorporates THz technology as well as a photonic crystal (PhC) structure to improve antenna performance. This work introduces a unique Double Pie Drilled Patch antenna (DPDPA) and investigates its characteristics using the antenna tool. This study optimizes the suggested antennas by adjusting the PhC air hole shapes, lattice value, and hole dimensions. The optimized DPDPA based on the rectangular air hole PhC model, produces −78.41 dB return loss (RL), 1.0002 VSWR, and 23.5 dBi gain at 2.10 THz frequency. Delivering a rapid data rate in wireless connections and other diverse streams is aided by the suggested patch antenna.

Parimalam Iccece 2025 International Conference on Computer Electrical and Communication Engineering, 2025 The fact that biometric recognition systems are susceptible to different software-related or template is undeniable. Attacks at different vulnerable points in the biometric authentication system are possible. These attacks, however, are not without their flaws. One of two possibilities: either researchers or biometric stakeholders have they may have forgotten or ignored the consequences of these attacks, or they are unaware of some of these threats. In the meantime, if biometric systems lack adequate security, these attacks could result in the biometric system being compromised. The compromise and consequent loss of sensitive personal information, which is irreplaceable and irrevocable, are inevitable. Researchers and biometrics should consider the implications posed by these threats. Over the last two decades, stakeholders have proposed different methods to mitigate some of the attacks. Many of the existing attacks are left unattended, and a large number of them are left unattended. As a result, we deemed it essential to address this issue. The research community is paying attention. The implications of these attacks are highlighted in this article. Exploit the threat approach based on the attacker’s knowledge, and combine them into a single, thorough, and effective attack. Recent state-of-art protection mechanisms that are put forward are included in the comprehensive review. Reduce the impact of these threats. A comparative performance analysis of these protection mechanisms is also performed. It is given that possible countermeasures to the attacks are given. It is expected that this survey will be a success. The biometric template protection research community was woken up by a wake-up call. Hand in glove. Conversely, educating ordinary users and biometric stakeholders about the dangers posed by biometrics.

Sathish Kumar 2025 IEEE International Students Conference on Electrical Electronics and Computer Science Sceecs 2025, 2025 The improved low-power 8-transistor (8T) SRAM cell discussed in this work is intended for data logging applications. This cell was designed using a transmission gate-grounded technique, which considerably lower power consumption compared to more traditional designs. The cell uses as little as 2.63 microwatts when using 180nm technology. The Cadence Virtuoso tool was used to simulate the design's performance. In addition to providing high-speed read and write operation, essential for data logging applications, the 8T configuration improves data retention stability and efficiency. Low-power applications that consider energy economy can benefit from this enhanced SRAM architecture.

Dhanasekar Proceedings of International Conference on Visual Analytics and Data Visualization Icvadv 2025, 2025 Design of microstrip patch antenna implements the establishment of novel shaped metamaterial antenna. Over the past ten years, there has been a sharp inclination in the demand for metamaterial antennas for wireless applications. Metamaterials offer additional advantage when used in patch region. Metamaterial is used to maximize the antenna's return loss(RL), VSWR, gain, directivity and frequency. Metamaterial is also used in order to prevent unwanted sidelobes. One of the major drawbacks in conventional antenna which is surface wave effect. To resolve this metamaterial is used and also improves the gain of a patch antenna by modifying the antenna's radiation pattern. The Simulated design produces antennas gain of 4.21dBi respectively The maximum frequency of 4.04 in Terahertz and the perfect result of -42.95 dB return loss(RL). The design of meta material novel novel shape can help achieve a higher efficiency even when using the same antenna at smaller sizes.
