Krishna Kumari, Ritu Yadav, Vinod Kumar
Responsible Rural Tourism Multidimensional Aspects of Tourism Based Growth and Development in Rural Areas, 2026
Haryana, known as the “Land of Farmers,” is a pioneering state in farm tourism in India. At various points in time over the years, various aspects of life in Haryana—the social and cultural—have become important tourist attractions, and, nowadays, Agri-tourism is considered a major sector. Haryana, being an agriculture leader, formally announced the Farm Tourism scheme on World Tourism Day on September 27, 2003. This scheme is based on a public-private Partnership model, aimed to promote rural culture and agriculture practices. The government amended this scheme in 2024 for strengthening farm tourism by introducing modern facilities, Agri practices, cooked food, accommodation facilities, and culture performances etc. This paper is an attempt to explore the social and economic impacts of the farm tourism sector in the state of Haryana. For gathering the information, primary data was used along with secondary sources from news articles, journals, research papers, government websites, and social media platforms. Primary data was obtained through interviews with the visitors to the farms of Haryana. Qualitative analysis of data has been done using NVivo software. At the end, this chapter provides implications for policymakers, farm owners, visitors, tourism operators and community members. - Exploring the cultural impacts of artificial intelligence on sustainable entrepreneurship development

Essential Information Systems Service Management, 2024
The chapter discusses the connection between artificial intelligence (AI) and sustainable entrepreneurship, emphasizing the need for understanding its sociological and cultural implications. It emphasizes the significance of cultural sensitivity in AI development and adoption, highlighting how it can help organizations mitigate biases and foster inclusive AI ecosystems. While AI technologies can improve efficiency, innovation, and scalability, they also raise privacy, autonomy, and job displacement concerns, necessitating a balance between technological advancements and ethical considerations. It calls for interdisciplinary collaboration between sociologists, HR professionals, entrepreneurs, and technologists to develop AI-driven sustainable entrepreneurship initiatives. By incorporating sociocultural insights, organizations can harness AI's transformative potential for sustainable entrepreneurship. - Covid-19 and Indian Women Entrepreneurship: Factor Analysis Approach

Journal Women S Entrepreneurship and Education, 2023
Women entrepreneurship is an emerging issue that captures the attention of researchers and policymakers. Women entrepreneurship is the source of making women financially independent, socially connected, and mentally healthy. Women entrepreneurship is the way to empower women to utilize their skill set to earn profit from small-scale businesses and create jobs for many people. However, women's entrepreneurship still gets attention in a socio-cultural country like India. Women are facing tremendous challenges in the way to pursue their business idea. This paper explores entrepreneurial intention among Indian women during the Covid-19 crisis. The study has used a semi-structured questionnaire consisting of 27 statements of entrepreneurship motives for data collection. A Sample of 550 women was approached from rural and urban areas in Haryana (India) through purposive sampling. The final sample comprises 528 women, representing a 96% response rate. Data has been analyzed through SPSS. The study has used descriptive statistics, Exploratory Factor Analysis, and one sample T-test as statistical tools. The study identified Knowledge, Financial Motivation, Family responsibility, and Under-Employment as determinants of Indian women's intention towards entrepreneurship in the wake of the Covid-19 crisis. Knowledge, Money, Family, and Under-Employment factors significantly influence Indian women to choose entrepreneurship as a career in the wake of the Covid-19 crisis.
