Dr. Djamel Dilmi is an assistant professor at the department of Architectural Engineering, College of Engineering, King Abdul Aziz University. KSA. He was a co-founder of College of Architecture and Planning in Qassim University, and he was a director of quality and academic development unit in this college. Since 2001 he has been involved in teaching in several universities including IIUM University, Limkokwing University, Twintech University, Qassim University and the Kingdom University. He has taught a wide range of studio and theory courses, including all levels of Design Studios, History and Theory of Architecture, Building Construction, Conservation Science in Architecture, Building Restoration, Design thesis and Urban Planning Strategies. He is an active member of the academic and social communities. He served as consultant and researcher to the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia and contributed to several exhibitions, and he has contributed to site visits and architectural trips for
