Dr. Asharam Pal is Associate Professor and Head, Department of Library and Information Science at Oriental University, Indore ((M.P.). He holds a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from Mandsaur University and qualified UGC-NET in LIS. He completed his B.Lib. & I.Sc. (2003) and M.Lib. & I.Sc. (2004) from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi (U.P.).
With over 20 years of academic and professional experience, he has contributed extensively to teaching, research, and library administration. His research interests include artificial intelligence in libraries, webometrics, digital libraries, MOOCs, and library automation. Dr. Pal has published more than 20 research papers in Scopus-indexed, UGC-CARE listed, and peer-reviewed national and international journals, and actively contributes to academic development, curriculum design, and professional training programs in Library and Information Science.
