the year 2010 from Anna
University, Chennai and his
Master of Engineering degree
from Anna University,
Coimbatore in the year 2012. He
completed Ph.D in the area of
Cryptography and Network
Security in the year 2022. He joined Karpagam
College of Engineering,
Coimbatore, India in 2012. He is
now Assistant Professor in
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. He is a member of
ISTE, IAENG, ISRD and SDIWC.

    The crucial problem of imbalance in series-connected batteries brought on by manufacturing variations in individual cells is addressed in this study. These imbalances may result in decreased usable capacity, shortened lifespan, and safety issues. A novel bidirectional cell balancing technique has been proposed to mitigate these effects. Using a switch-mode power converter, the proposed Cell Balancing Circuit effectively moves energy from larger cells to weaker ones, maintaining consistent voltage levels and State-of-Charge (SOC) for every cell. Theoretical analysis and simulation results validate the efficiency of this method, showing improved battery reliability and balancing performance.
  • Enhancing Customer Experience in E-Commerce with NLP-Driven Chatbots and Virtual Assistants

    E-commerce growth suggests that customer care services need to be smart, flexible, and sensitive to customers’ feelings. Intent detection is done with BERT, combined with GPT-2 for creating responses in a human-like style while using sentiment-aware attention mechanisms. Collaborative filtering and reinforcement learning are used in the recommendation engine to encourage users to stay engaged, feel satisfied, and convert. All the dialogue in this system is from an English, Spanish, and Hindi training set of 120,000 turns, and the system is improved with contrastive loss. With AWS Lambda and Dialogflow CX, deployment takes place in real-time and remains fast even when there are many concurrent users. 94.5% accuracy, 93.0% F1-score, 89.7% query resolution rate and 150 ms average response time are shown by the evaluation results. Satisfaction with customers increased to 4.7 out of 5 and at the same time, calls handled by agents declined from 75% to just 20%. By offering scalable talks, personal choices and emotion awareness, this framework can greatly boost users’ satisfaction and make the business operations more efficient in online shopping.

    A switch-mode rectifier (SMR) can provide adjustable and well-regulated DC output voltage from the available AC source with good line drawn power quality. This research introduces a novel Buck-Boost converter that incorporates Zero Voltage Transition (ZVT) and Zero Current Transition (ZCT) techniques, and its practical application as an emergency adapter. The system produces a reliable 230V/50Hz emergency output using automotive batteries and various household or commercial appliance batteries, necessitating an inverter following a boost converter for this purpose. In buck converter mode, a rectifier and buck converter are used to charge the batteries after receiving 12V from the grid. The adapter produces excellent output AC voltage sine waves. In a boost converter, soft switching is used to operate the semiconductor switches. Zero Voltage Transition (ZVT) turns the converter ON, while Zero Current Transition (ZCT) shuts it OFF. The remarkable versatility and high efficiency of the Buck-Boost converter position it as a promising solution not only for emergency power applications but also for a wide array of other scenarios.
  • Matlab/Simulink based development and testing of embedded vibration monitoring system

    The most efficient technique for evaluating the operation of the machine and for early fault detection is vibration-based condition monitoring. A vibration causes the system to become faulty and sometimes fail. Vibration analysis is the most important technique for vehicle failure detection. The purpose of this investigation is to show the development and testing of a three axis parallel vibration evaluator for underwater vehicle monitoring that is incorporated with an FPGA. The vibration system uses piezoelectric accelerometers, which function effectively across a wide temperature range and can withstand damaging shocks and vibrations. The data acquisition system developed in this research will track and examine vibration information along the 3- axes (horizontal, vertical and axial). The system records and stores the signals from the accelerometer that represent the vibration data along the three axes. The sensor based model interface with the host computer via USB protocols, and MATLAB is used to gather and interpret the vibration data.

    The evolution of Internet of Things (IoT) promotes patient’s monitoring and diagnose is tremendously. A wireless sensors of minute size are implanted into the victim’s body to measure physiological parameters such as heart rate, glucose level etc continuously. The nodes present inside Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) are monitored through the internet. So, it is much prone to the wearable devices being overwhelmed and accessed by an unauthorized user as a result of its physical nature. The physiological information of an individual is highly emotional. Therefore, security is considered as a vital requirement for healthcare applications notably if a patient struggles from a severe disease. Thus, Light Weight Cryptography (LWC) encryption schemes were introduced as a primitive measure to secure the required data from threats. The essential requirements of LWC algorithm are reduced area, power consumption, high security, and efficient Processing. In this work, AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) algorithm with Decoder -Switch - Encoder (DSE) - Substitution (S) box technique are used followed by modular inverse and affine transformation process for high security and smaller area. Furthermore, pipelining, branch parallel operations and loop unrolling are also utilized for efficient processing.
