    Fog computing has come as a center stage solution for the shortcoming that were deemed characteristic of cloud computing since it seeks to provide computation nearer to the end devices. Nevertheless, task offloading in the fog computing system is a challenging problem, especially regarding energy consumption and system performance. The work presented herein is centred on designing a PSO based energyefficient task offloading approach. The proposed methodology takes advantage of PSO feature of mapping tasks with an adequate set of fog nodes in consideration to parameters such as energy consumption, processing time, and network bandwidth. The strategy which pursues to reduce energy consumption of mobile devices by minimizing a number of applications offloaded to the cloud is formulated as a multi-objective optimization task where energy minimization and maintaining high service quality are the objectives. The study also shows that PSO-based approach greatly leads to lesser energy consumption from conventional routing methods alongside the convenient workload and efficiency of the systems. The results show that PSO can be extremely beneficial in managing resources in the fog environment, so as to establish fog computing solutions that may be sustainable and scalable. This work also aims at enriching the development of fog computing systems as a solid approach to meeting the new massive computational requirements of IoT and other edge devices besides tackling energy efficiency issues.
  • Efficient Soil Condition Monitoring with IoT Enabled Intelligent Farming Solution

    Intelligent farming offers real-time variable adjustment and development rate analysis to enhance crop growth and support farmer efforts. In this project, we'll create a reliable technique for evaluating the soil's state in intelligent agriculture. We offer LiveStatistics (warmth, wetness, and dampness) for effective environmental monitoring to assist farmers in increasing crop yields and product quality. The water pump, 12V LED strip, humidity sensor, LDR, and DS18B20 detector probe are all included in this Internet of Things(loT) system for NodeMCU drives in intelligent farming. The loT- based agricultural surveillance system monitors soil properties, temperature, humidity, and moisture levels and delivers via the loT cloud for immediate analysis. A working system would also enable sensors to spray rapidly when water content falls below a set threshold. According to comprehensive research, the suggested paradigm has improved decision-making abilities.

    Wireless communications have experienced speedy and technical development in this modern era. Significant improvements are required in terms of communication speed link, energy level, size of the device, network lifetime and applications for different generations of wireless devices. Due to the advancement in technical development, the researchers have started to build WNArchitectures the conventional method of data communication using peer-to-peer basis with a centralized (BS) controller. In Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), the conventional method of data communication in the network is instituted and this allows the nodes to forward data through other nodes in the communication network and create new communication paths that involve several wireless hops in the communication network. Recently, there has been an upraise in cooperative communication. This promising methodology plays an important role in relieving wireless channel fading, as well as, recuperating steadfastness in networks which permit nodes that allow cooperation among them. The nodes share data in cooperative communication by exploiting the communication in their broadcasting nature. Simulations were run for various adjustments in order to approve the Cooperative Power and Energy-efficient routing protocol (COPE) [14] convention's implementation alongside the proposed Minimum Power Least Cost Routing (MPLCR) Algorithm conventions.
