Offshore vessel stabilization based on SVM and wavelet transform L Judijanto, D Liestyowati, A Andiyan, P Hastuti, S E Adawiyah, E Setiawati Iop Conference Series Earth and Environmental Science, 2026 Offshore vessel stability plays a critical role in the sustainability and safety of maritime operations, especially in dynamic and high-risk marine environments. Ship motion signals, such as pitch and roll, are non-stationary, requiring an analysis method that can capture time and frequency dynamics simultaneously. This study combines the wavelet transform approach for signal analysis and Support Vector Machine (SVM) as a classification algorithm to determine the stability status of the ship. The wavelet transform is used to extract important features from the ship motion signal, including signal energy, entropy, and multi-level statistics. These features are then input into the SVM model, which is trained to classify the ship’s condition as stable or unstable. The model is tested using simulation data and validated through cross-validation methods and parameter tuning using Grid Search. The results show that this approach can detect changes in ship stability accurately and efficiently. This system has the potential to be implemented in real-time monitoring and can be developed to support adaptive navigation on offshore vessels, including unmanned vessels. This study contributes to the application of machine learning in the field of maritime engineering, making it smarter and more responsive to sea conditions.
Optimization of Piper Trilinier Diagram Using Lithium Isotope Systematics: An Application for Detecting the Contribution of Geothermal Water from Aso Caldera after Earthquake 2016 in Kumamoto Aquifer, Japan Rofiqul Umam, Rahmad Junaidi, Muhamad Syazali, Fajri Farid, Antomi Saregar, et al. Indonesian Journal of Science and Technology, 2025 Optimization of the use of the Piper trilinear diagram was carried out by adding Lithium isotope systematics as a more accurate water-type analysis. The method used in this research is to analyze the Cl/Li ratio 1000, δ7Li 10 ‰, and Lithium concentration of groundwater, and then the results of the analysis are integrated into a Piper trilinear diagram. The research results show that Lithium isotope systematics (Cl/Li ratio 1000, δ7Li 10 ‰ and Li concentration) graph can be divided into 3 regions, namely geothermal water type has Cl/Li 1000 and δ7Li 10 ‰, then shallow groundwater which has Cl/Li 1000 but δ7Li 10 ‰ experienced natural contamination from geothermal waters, and fluid that has a Cl/Li ratio 1000 and 10 ‰ δ7Li 20 ‰ is estimated to be shallow groundwater.
Can MUAC Be Used to Determine the Nutritional Status of Adolescent Girls? Firda Fibrila, M. Ridwan, Herlina Herlina, I. Putu Suiraoka, Andiyan Andiyan Universal Journal of Public Health, 2025 Body mass index is a measure used to assess whether a person is underweight or overweight. However, BMI does not take into account muscle mass and fat mass, making it less accurate for determining nutritional status values in this condition. The purpose of this study was to determine whether upper arm circumference has a correlation with BMI and to determine the threshold value for detecting undernutrition in adolescent girls aged 15 to 19 years. This study used a cross-sectional design involving 380 healthy adolescent girls. Anthropometric measurement procedures are implemented under strict supervision after obtaining consent from respondents. There is a strong correlation (r = 0.841) where the effect of MUAC variables on BMI variables was 70.7% (R square =0.707, p = 0.000), AUC of 0.899 (95% CI: 0.86 - 0.92) for MUAC on BMI, sensitivity = 0.896, specificity = 0.711, PPV = 0.869, and NPV = 0.761. The cutoff value was 23.7 cm and the Youden Index was 0.647, with a good accuracy value of 83.68%. MUAC has good accuracy and is supported by a strong correlation to detect nutritional status in adolescent girls aged 15 to 19 years, where the resulting sensitivity and specificity are high. This study also produced a cutoff value that was not much different, namely 23.7. Based on these results, MUAC can be recommended for early assessment in the detection of malnutrition in adolescent girls. The drawback of this study is the relatively small sample size.
Harmonizing work behaviour, social equity, and green culture in urban living: The moderating role of sustainable cities green technology L Judijanto, D Liestyowati, A Andiyan, R Umam, D Y Indah Iop Conference Series Earth and Environmental Science, 2025 Green technology is becoming more popular. This article discusses sustainable cities that balance economic opportunity, social equality, and environmental awareness. Sustainable cities prioritize improvements in air quality, efficient waste management, and the provision of essential services. Socioeconomic, environmental, and technical issues impede urban living. Labor, social justice, and ecology are integrated into sustainable cities. Effective urban planning, sustainable technology, and accessible transit are essential. Green technology reduces pollution, conserves resources, and promotes renewable energy. Sustainable behavior needs green technology. A Google Forms poll gathered data from 132 Bandung baristas. The data were analyzed using SEM PLS. This research investigates how work behavior, social equity, and green culture contribute to the development of sustainable cities through the application of green technology. To accomplish economic development and environmental stewardship via green technology, careful planning, community involvement, work behavior, social equality, and green culture must be prioritized. This research provides valuable insights into promoting sustainable urban living through green technology and community engagement. By embracing green technologies and adopting environmentally responsible behaviors, individuals contribute to both societal and environmental sustainability, thereby strengthening the resilience of cities.
