Decision-making in environmental risk management: case study on adaptive strategies in U.S. cities under uncertainty Sarah Ali Abdulkareem, Aws Hamid Mohammed, Shahd Nasser Saadi Hassan, Ahmed Mohammed Fahmi, Matai Nagi Saeed Environment and Social Psychology, 2025 Increasing pollution dynamics, resource availability uncertainties and climate variability pose great challenges to environmental risk management. Traditional regulatory systems are based on fixed policies that do not do well in dynamic environmental conditions. In this context, this study aims to assess adaptive environmental management strategies, combining real-time monitoring, predictive modeling and stakeholder engagement to enhance air and water quality and soil health. Based on a comparative exploration of static, adaptive and hybrid models, the results show that adaptive processes help lower pollutant concentrations, contribute to ecosystem resilience and help develop the public trust in environmental governance. According to the study, adaptive air quality management reduces PM2. 5 levels, and water quality improves as nitrate concentrations decrease by 38%. Adaptive interventions also lead to improvements in soil health, doubling organic matter and reducing pesticide residues by 18%. Moreover, adaptive governance models enhance stakeholder confidence in environmental policies by 30%, highlighting the need for transparency and flexibility in decision-making. This analysis was supported by regression modelling, Monte Carlo simulations, and ANOVA procedures, which provided robust validation of outcomes and quantified uncertainty across different intervention scenarios. These findings indicate that adaptive environmental governance constitutes a generalizable and resilient mechanism for mitigating ecological risk, to far greater effect than static regulatory ecosystems. In further studies, long-term sustainability, cost effectiveness, innovative methods of implementation such as AI-enabled environmental monitoring, could be examined that help facilitate policies. Adaptive strategies can facilitate sustainable environmental management and climate resiliency by connecting scientific data with policy decisions
The Impact of Remote Work on Team Dynamics and Management Strategies Abeer Wadullah Baker, Riyadh Yousuf Salman, Elnur Sardarov Zaur, Ahmed Mohammed Fahmi Journal of Ecohumanism, 2024 Background: The global pandemic has expedited the transition to remote work, profoundly changing team dynamics and management practices within enterprises. This transition needs an awareness of the implications for communication, cooperation, and leadership. Objective: The aim of this study is to look into the effects of remote work on team dynamics and to determine the management practices that have proven most effective in preserving team cohesiveness and productivity. Methods: A mixed-methods approach was used, with both quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews. Data were obtained from 300 employees from diverse businesses who have done remote work. The survey assessed changes in communication frequency, team cohesion, and perceived productivity, whereas interviews offered more in-depth information about managers' issues and strategies. Results: The study found a considerable shift in communication patterns, with a rise in asynchronous communication methods. Team cohesion initially deteriorated, but stabilized after virtual team-building exercises were implemented. Regular check-ins, flexible work hours, and the use of collaborative tools to improve contact and project management are among the most effective management tactics observed. Conclusion: Remote work has altered team dynamics, posing both challenges and opportunities for managers. Adaptive management practices can help firms sustain team cohesion and productivity. Future studies should look into long-term effects and the possibility for hybrid work styles to improve team dynamics even further.

Due to rapid technological advancements and a volatile business environment, companies must adapt and utilise innovation to maintain competitiveness and relevance. This article explores the various aspects of innovation and technology management in modern businesses. Objective: The primary aim of this study is to scrutinize the strategies and approaches implemented by contemporary enterprises to foster innovation and streamline technology management. The investigation aims to identify crucial factors that facilitate or impede innovation and technology management, thereby contributing to a better understanding of the present-day corporate landscape.Methodology: To gain insight into the contemporary approaches to innovation and technology management in organisations, this study conducts a thorough review of existing literature, case studies, and surveys across various industries. THE IMPACT OF THE COMPONENTS AND DIMENSIONS OF HUMAN CAPITAL ON ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONS Hameed Salim Alkaabi, Ghazwan Saleem Naamo, Ahmed Mohammed Fahmi International Journal of Professional Business Review, 2023 Purpose: The aim of this paper was present components and dimensions of human capital terms impact on organizational relation. Theoretical framework: Many studies have dealt with the impact of human resources on the performance of organizations. In this paper, work has been done to study the dimensions of human capital and the way it affects organizational relations. Design/methodology/approach: The paper adopted the descriptive / exploratory approach, as an opinion questionnaire was designed specifically to find out the opinions of the scientific competencies of teachers and administrators at Al-Rafidain University College, where (100) opinion questionnaires were distributed. Findings: The most important conclusions are the evidence of the impact of human capital (components and dimensions) on organizational relations, at Al-Rafidain University College. Research, practical & Social implications: three dimensions used to human capital and for dimensions to organizational relation. Sadiq Indian Journal of Public Health Research and Development, 2019 During the past few years, there have been tremendous attempts among various organizations to implement the marketing information systems to improve their financial performance, in general, information systems are an important element to support the performance, however, to apply these systems it is necessary to be analyzed and evaluated. Accordingly, The aim of this paper is to identify the impact of marketing information systems directly on brilliant financial performance, after a brief literature review an applied study was conducted among physicians that work in private hospitals in Iraq. To this end a model of the relations has been developed to be tested by linear regression and structural equation modeling, the results showed that marketing information systems directly affect the brilliant financial performance.
