Biography
He is a professor in the Department of Vernacular Laguages at the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA) and a faculty member of the Graduate Programs in Languages of Bacabal (PPGLB) and the Graduate Program in Languages (PG-Letras). He currently serves as the Coordinator of International Partnerships (CPI) at the Directorate of International Relations (DRI/AGEUFMA) at UFMA. His research focuses on the description, evaluation, and perception of the sociolinguistic variety of Maranhão Portuguese across different levels of linguistic analysis.
Education
He holds a Ph.D. (2020) and a Master's degree (2015) in Linguistics from the University of São Paulo. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Vernacular Languages (2011) from the Federal University of Maranhão.
