Biography

Dr.J.Vivekavardhan presently working as a Head of the Department, Chairman Board of Studies, Department of Library and Information Science, Osmania University (OU), Hyderabad having more than 13 years of Teaching Experience. He served as a University Librarian, Central University of Kerala. He is a member of Raja Ram Mohan Roy Library Foundation, Government of India, Kolkata. He is also served as an Additional Controller of PG Exams, Osmania University, coordinator Equal Opportunity cell, Special Officer, Exam cell, University College of Arts and Social Sciences, Osmania University. He obtained M.Tech., M.Sc. M.L.I.Sc, M.Ed from Osmania University. He was awarded Ph.D from Osmania University, Ph.D thesis entitled as ‘A study of Web search Engines with Particular Reference to Information Retrieval Features’. Teaching and Administrative Experience: 24 years He is also invited keynote speaker, chairman of the sessions in National/State level seminars and conferences.
