Biography
Dr.V. Vimala, holds Ph. D from Kuvempu University, Jnanasahyadri, Shankaraghatta Karnataka State. She is Assistant Professor (SS) of Commerce, presently working at Department of Commerce,Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore – 641043, Tamil Nadu state, India. She has 15 years of teaching andresearch experience to her credit.Her area of research interests are focused on Finance, Banking and Marketing. She has published 34 articles in reputed refereed National and International Peer Reviewed journals, 15 seminar proceedings, presented 62 papers in both national and international seminars/conferences, attended 35 workshops, 18 International Conference, 04 State level seminars and 52National level seminars participated, 34 Chapters in Books, one Edited Book since 2005. She won the Citation of Award in the Name of Prof. Manubhai M. Shah Memorial Research Award and won the Gold Medal and in 2016. To her credit, she received 13 awards.
