Tilak Jha

Biography

Ex-BBC Journalist and Former Asian Future Leaders Scholar Dr. Tilak Jha is currently Associate Professor of Journalism at Times School of Media (TSOM), Bennett University; and, Founder, ICANGOVERN, a citizen-led local governance initiative. Tilak is Champion, SPOC, TSOM at Bennett's International Relations and Corporate Affairs office bringing partnerships with the likes of Stony Brooks University School of Journalism, New York; Ca Foscari University, Italy and Deutsche Welle. Dr. Tilak is also Principal Investigator of a 2-year project to develop a technology-driven model to digitally connect migrants and residents of underdeveloped regions of Bihar for making crucial local governance interventions. At the university, he also offers open electives and value added courses for students of other schools.
