Biography
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Musa Osman KARATOSUN was born in Ankara in 1988. He completed his middle and high school education there. After graduating from Dokuz Eylül University's Faculty of Theology in 2011, he was appointed a Research Assistant in the History of Religions Department of the Philosophy and Religious Sciences at Çukurova University's Faculty of Theology. He completed his Master's degree in 2013 and his Doctorate in 2018. He has published articles and communiqués on various topics, particularly on canonical law and Christian hymns, as well as Christian texts of faith, religious life, and moral philosophy. He has also conducted academic research on various topics, including family, women, disability, and transhumanism, particularly within Daoism. He has published books including "A Study on Traditional Chinese Myths" and "Canonical Law: Basic Sources and Main Topics." He was appointed as an Assistant Professor at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University Faculty of Theology in 2020.
