Biography
I am Dr. Shailesh Kumar Dewangan, a graduate of Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh). I completed my Master’s degree in 2010 from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela and earned my Ph.D. from NIT Rourkela in November 2014. My doctoral and postgraduate research focused on the optimization of machining parameters in Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM). I believe that my teaching experience, combined with my research in machining science and optimization techniques, enables me to contribute effectively to academic and research environments. My primary research interests include non-conventional machining processes and optimization techniques aimed at improving manufacturing performance and quality. Currently, I am working as an Associate Professor at Chouksey Engineering College, Bilaspur. I am also engaged in an AICTE-sponsored Industrial Fellowship Programme, where I continue to explore applied research in machining and manufacturing optimization.
