Biography
Samara Vieira da Cruz is an undergraduate student in History at the Universidade Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia. She is a two-time participant in the Programa Institucional de Bolsa de Iniciação à Docência, a program focused on teacher training and teaching initiation. Her research focuses on the abolition of slavery in Bahia between 1882 and 1889, with particular attention to the city of Salvador and the role of the press in shaping and mobilizing abolitionist movements.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in History (Teaching Degree) in progress at the Universidade Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia. Participant in the Programa Institucional de Bolsa de Iniciação à Docência, a program focused on teacher training and the initiation of teaching practice.
