Biography
I am an educator and a lifelong learner. I completed my UG Degree in Fine Arts from Rabindra Bharati University (1990-1995) and PG Degree in Textile Design from the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad (1996 Batch). I have been working in association with crafts and industries for many years now. I am currently teaching as an Associate Professor at NIFT, which allows us to work closely with artisans through our course curriculum and professional projects. I am currently pursuing my PhD from Banasthali Vidyapith, Banasthali, Rajasthan, India, and my topic is Design Thinking in Indian Schools. Interest and speciality: Design Education, Designerly thinking, Textile design.
