Biography
Dr. Rahul Kumar is an academic and researcher specializing in Defence and Strategic Studies and International Relations. He currently serves as Assistant Professor (Grade-II) at Prof. Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) University, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India. His research and teaching focus on national security, geopolitics, South Asian strategic affairs, and internal security challenges. Dr. Kumar completed his Ph.D. in 2023 from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University. He earned his Master’s degrees in Defence and Strategic Studies from both Uttarakhand Open University (2019) and Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (2014), and obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Shri Varshney College, Aligarh, in 2012. Before joining Rajju Bhaiya University, Dr. Kumar worked as a Senior Research Fellow (2019–2020) and Junior Research Fellow (2017–2019) at Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, where he conducted research on strategic affairs and security studies.
