Biography
Dr Sharma is working as an Associate Professor and heading the Department of Biotechnology at Dr YSPUHF, Solan (HP). He has been honoured with • Gold medal (Year 2007) in Doctoral Programme for topping the University (UHF). • Young Scientist Fellowship (Year 2009) of DST, New Delhi, • International travel grant from the DST, New Delhi to Italy (Year 2013), • Overseas training at De Montfort University, Leicester, UK under ICAR sponsored NAHEP-IDP programme in March, 2023, • Awarded as an honorary overseas position as SRF in the faculty of health and life sciences at De Montfort University, Leicester, UK. He has been guided/ guiding M.Sc. & Ph.D. students in Plant Biotechnology & Molecular Biology. He is involved in various national and international collaborated externally funded research projects from DST, DBT, CSIR, NMPB and MoEnv. Forest & Climate Change, New Delhi. His research work has widely published in rated referred journals of national and international repute.
