Biography

Former collaborating professor of Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo and Universidade Nove de Julho. Currently works as a cardiologist and senior medical researcher at the Hospital Alemão Oswaldo Cruz. His professional activities focus on clinical care, teaching, and research in Medicine, with emphasis on Cardiology and Cardio-Oncology. Since 2013, he has participated in sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials as principal investigator or sub-investigator, including serving as national coordinator for several of these studies.

Education

Graduated in Medicine from the University of São Paulo (1994–1999). Completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (2000–2002) and in Cardiology at the Instituto do Coração (InCor) (2003–2005). Holds a PhD in Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (2014). Certified Member of the International Cardio-Oncology Society. Served as a visiting observer physician (focus on Heart Failure) at the Herz- und Diabeteszentrum Nordrhein-Westfalen, Ruhr University Bochum, Germany.
