Biography
Professor at the Federal Institute of Ceará (IFCE). PhD in Development and Environment from the Federal Rural University of the Semi-Arid Region (UFERSA), focusing on the extraction and application of biopolymers from marine macroalgae to obtain sustainable films and coatings. Master in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), with studies on drag reduction in turbulent flows induced by polymers. Specialist in Professional and Technological Education and graduated in Mechanical Engineering from UFERSA. Active in the areas of research on sustainable materials, biopolymers, process optimization and development of biodegradable films and coatings. Member of the research groups in Materials, Solid Mechanics and Manufacturing Processes (UFERSA), Agroindustrial Technology for the Semi-Arid Region (UFERSA), Electrical, Mechanical and Environment (IFCE). Member of the Ceará Renewable Energy Research and Innovation Network (Rede VERDES).
