Cancer cytogenetics and genomics.
Biography
Affiliated with the Cancer Cytogenomics Laboratory (LCC) and has experience in classical and molecular cytogenetics. Currently, she is developing a research project on the Human Exposome, investigating how environmental factors cause chronic genetic damage. She was a member of the PET Biology UFC group from 2023 to 2025, developing teaching, research, and extension activities. She was involved with the Junior Enterprise of the Biological Sciences course, Mata Branca Jr., from 2021 to 2024. She completed an internship at the Hematology and Hemotherapy Center of Ceará (HEMOCE) in 2024. Her research interests lie in the areas of Molecular Biology, Cytogenetics, Genetics, Onco-Hematology, and Pathology.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Medical Sciences at the same institution.
