Biography
Dr Oladapo Oyedeji Oludairo is a lecturer, clinician, laboratorian, researcher and Head of the Department of Veterinary Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ilorin. He graduated from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. He obtained both MSc and PhD degrees in Veterinary Public Health and Preventive Medicine from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. He has over 25 years of experience in practice (poultry, small animal, large animal medicine), wildlife medicine/research, zoonoses, antibiotic resistance and surveillance. In the last 8 years, he taught undergraduates and postgraduates Public Health, disease surveillance and epidemiology. His research interest is Public Health/Preventive Medicine, Epidemiology, Disease Surveillance, Food Hygiene, Bacteriology especially, Enterobacteriaceae and Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR).
