He had his B.Sc. (Ed) Social Studies, 2010; M.Ed. Social Studies 2014 and Ph.D. Social Studies Education 2019 at University of Ilorin. He is a certified teacher with teachers’ registration number (KW/S/07131).

Dr. Issa Nasiru OLOKOOBA is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Social Sciences Education, Faculty of Education, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He specialised in Social Studies Education. He is presently a Level Adviser for 100 level, B. Ed. Social Studies and Civic Education, Coordinator, Undergraduate Sandwich Programme and Secretary. He is a member of Social Studies Association of Nigeria (SOSAN) from 2011 till date and Association of Educational Researchers and Evaluators of Nigeria (ASSEREN) from 2019 to till date.
