Biography

Dr. S.E.Noorjahan, Assistant Professor, Dean (School of Sciences), with 15 years of teaching and 13 years of research experience, obtained her Ph.D. in the year 2004 from University of Madras, Chennai, India. She was awarded Junior Research Fellowship by CSIR, New Delhi, in the year 2000 and Senior Research Fellowship in the year 2003 for carrying out research work. She pursued her research programme in Central Leather Research Institute, Chennai. She has an US Patent- US20040124564A1 (for which the technology has also been transferred to some of the Indian as well as foreign companies). She has completed a major project with a funding of Rs. 23 lakhs (2012-2015) from SERB, Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi. She has published 14 research articles in National and International journals and serves as a reviewer for many international scientific publishers.
