Biography

Working as Assistant Professor of Law at RGSoIPL, IIT Kharagpur. Prior to joining RGSoIPL, he has taught at Institute of Law, Nirma University for seven and a half years and Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi for a year. His area of interest include Environmental Law, Environmental Taxes, and Criminal Laws & Human Rights. He has done his Ph.D. from University of Delhi, with Junior Research Fellowship granted by the UGC. He has presented various research papers at national and international conferences and seminars. In a short span of his academic career, he has taught under graduate and post graduate students various subjects such as Criminal Law, Criminal Justice and Human Rights, Comparative Criminal Procedure, Environmental Law, White Collar Crimes, Evidence Law, Commercial Transactions etc. I have also guided various students for their dissertation at post graduate level.

Education

Ph.D. in Law with the Thesis title "Eco-tax for Sustainable Development in India: Prospects and Challenges". with a First Class in LL.M. from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. Completed the LL.B. degree from one of India's most prestigious law school, Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi with a Bachelors degree in Political Science (Honours) from Ramjas College University of Delhi.
