Biography

Maytee Zambrano Núñez is a Full Professor in the Department of Communications at the Technological University of Panama and Director of the Research Group on Advanced Technologies in Telecommunications and Signal Processing (GITTS). She holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Communications and Digital Signal Processing from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Additionally, she holds postgraduate specializations in Telecommunications, Digital Electronics, and Higher Education Teaching. Dr. Zambrano has several publications in international journals and has been a speaker at multiple international conferences in the fields of communications and information technologies. She also holds several international patent applications. Her outstanding research career has earned her numerous awards and recognitions and has led to her membership in Panama’s National Research System (SNI) since 2017.
