Biography
Dr. Manu Kohli is an accomplished nursing academic and researcher currently serving as Professor in the Department of Nursing at Chitkara School of Health Sciences, Chitkara University. With over 16 years of teaching experience, she has taught and mentored students across various institutions in Punjab. Her areas of academic and research expertise include child, adolescent, and women’s mental health, along with a special focus on psychological flexibility, mindfulness-based therapies, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). She has actively contributed to research and innovation through publications, patents, and organizing workshops and conferences. She received funding from the Indian Council of Medical Research in 2020 for a national workshop on “Childhood and Behavioural Problems: Assessment to Rehabilitation.” She has authored multiple peer-reviewed papers in journals. She is also the author of the Textbook of Mental Health Nursing (1st Edition 2014, 2nd edi 2021)

She is active in teaching and research (e.g., mental health interventions, postnatal depression, naturopathy in nursing) and is involved in academic outreach (workshops, therapy sessions).
