Biography

K. Mageshkumar was born in Vellore, India, in 1979. He earned a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Engineering College in 2002, followed by an M.E. from St. Peter’s Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai, in 2012. He was subsequently awarded a Ph.D. in Metal Joining from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) in 2020. Dr. Mageshkumar possesses over fifteen years of cumulative teaching and research experience in esteemed institutions, including VIT Vellore and Ganadipathy Tulsi’s Jain Engineering College. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Annai Mira College of Engineering and Technology, Ranipet, and also having five years of industrial experience. His principal research interests lie in metal joining technologies, high-temperature corrosion, and composite materials. This is evidenced by a substantial record of scholarly publications, including over 13 international papers and a book chapter.
