Biography
Magdy K. Zahran is a professor emeritus in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Helwan University.
Education
Professor Zahran attended Mahala El-Kobra schools for primary and secondary education. He obtained his B.S. degree in chemistry from Tanta University, Egypt, in 1980. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt, in 1987 and 1991, respectively. Since 2010, he has been a distinguished professor in applied organic chemistry at the University of Helwan, where he was a lecturer and an associate professor in 1991 and 1999, respectively.
