Biography
Mr. Kaustav Choudhoury, Assistant Professor (Law) has been awarded Gold Medal in Law by Assam University [A Central University that ranks 77 th by NIRF]; and he is pursuing his Ph.D from North Eastern Hill University [A Central University that ranks 39 th by NIRF]. He has also to his credit the distinction of holding the first rank in NEHU PhD Entrance Examination 2018. Moreover, he is an experienced member from the Bar, having worked both at District Court and High Court. He joined academics in 2018 (June), after clearing UGC NET (Law) in first attempt. Before joining Rashtriya Raksha University, he was also associated with The ICFAI University for a brief period of time. A voracious reader and a copious writer, his research area is Criminal Law both substantial and Procedural as he received his Specialization Degree on Criminal Law and Criminology by Gauhati University [A State University that ranks 47 th by NIRF]. He has also delivered Lectures on Constitutional Law, State Land Laws
