Biography
He graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Paraná (2002), completed medical residencies in general surgery (2005) and plastic surgery (2008) at Santa Casa de São Paulo. Completed his Master's degree (2012) and Doctorate “with honors” (2017) in the Translational Surgery postgraduate program at the Federal University of São Paulo - UNIFESP. He is currently an Affiliate Professor and Plastic Surgeon at UNIFESP, where he coordinates the Liposuction Sector and advises the Translational Surgery Postgraduate Program at UNIFESP. He teaches plastic surgery residents at the surgical center of Hospital São Paulo and lectures to undergraduate medical students and residents at UNIFESP. He is the author of articles published in high-impact national and international journals, such as the Lancet, and has won awards at the Brazilian and American plastic surgery congresses.
