Biography

I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at SAFI Institute of Advanced Study, Vazhayur, Kerala. I completed my postgraduate degree from Farook College (Autonomous) under the University of Calicut, and my undergraduate studies were also completed under the same university. At present, I am pursuing my PhD at Farook College (Autonomous), University of Calicut. My doctoral research adopts a multidisciplinary approach to the study of political gender narratives, examining how gender, power, and political experience are articulated through autobiographical and narrative forms. My research interests broadly include gender studies, feminist criticism, political narratives, and life writing, with a particular focus on the representation of women’s leadership and their engagement with structures of governance and public life.
