Biography
Juliana is a doctoral candidate in the Graduate Program in Sociology at UFC. She holds a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the State University of Ceará (2007), a bachelor's degree in Law from the Federal University of Ceará (2013), and a master's degree in Sociology from the Federal University of Ceará (2012). She is also a Research Analyst at Geogian College, Ontario, Canada (2024). She served as head of the Academic Secretariat of the Institute of Culture and Art at the Federal University of Ceará for five years (2018-2023) and as a Research Analyst in Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada, in 2024 and 2025. She is a member of the Center for Studies on Race and Intersectionalities (NERI) at UFC. She has research experience with an emphasis on Sociology and Urban Anthropology, Political Anthropology, Education, Ethnic-Racial Relations, Whiteness, and Elites.
