Biography
PhD in Ecology, Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC; 2021-2025), with an exchange period at James Cook University, Australia, under the supervision of Dr. Peter Cowman and Dr. Alexandre Siqueira, funded by a CAPES/PRINT scholarship. Undertook an academic mobility period at the University of the Azores, Portugal, as part of the Mission Atlantic project, under the supervision of Dr. Pedro Afonso. Master in Ecology from the Graduate Program in Ecology, UFSC (2019-2021); Bachelor in Biological Sciences, UFSC (2014-2019). Started work in the Long-Term Monitoring Program of the Reef Communities of the Brazilian Oceanic Islands (PELD-ILOC) as a Scientific Initiation fellow in 2017, and still integrates de team. Currently, conducts research related to reef ecology, biogeography and marine macroecology, evolution, and connectivity of reef organisms.
