Biography
She is an Ass. Professor of pediatrics working at the Faculty of Medicine Helwan University. Formerly, she was an Associate Consultant at the National Hepatology and Tropical Medicine Research Institute (NHTMRI) until December 2017. As a pediatrician, she has about 24 years of experience in the field, specifically in pediatric hepatology, since 2005. She is the head of the pediatric department, sharing the responsibility of designing and teaching the pediatrics module for undergraduate and postgraduate students. She has about 30 international publications, mainly on viral hepatitis in children. In addition to scientific research work, her interest is research ethics. She has been a member of RECs since 2006. Currently, she is a member of the IRB of the NHTMRI and the Central Scientific Research Ethics Committee-Supreme Council of University Hospitals-Egypt (CRECU). Also, she participated in developing the REC of the faculty of Medicine at Helwan University.
