Biography
I am a botanist and Associate Professor at M.R. Government Arts College, Mannargudi, Thiruvarur District, Tamil Nadu, India. I was a guest lecturer at the same college from July 2004 to December 2007, when it was affiliated with Bharathidasan University, Thiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. Born in Mannargudi, Thiruvarur District, Tamil Nadu, India, on July 15, 1974, I completed my schooling in Tamil Nadu's state board government schools. I earned a B.Sc. in Botany from M.R. Government Arts College (affiliated with Bharathidasan University) in 1996, an M.Sc. in Botany from A.V.V.M. Sri Pushpam College (Autonomous, affiliated with Bharathidasan University) in 1999, and both an M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Botany from Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College (affiliated with the University of Madras) in 2000 and 2003, respectively. My research on mycology in plant sciences spans 20 years (2000-present). I have published 30 papers nationally and internationally, primarily in Scopus and peer-reviewed
