Dr. Kiran Shamuel Gomes

Biography

I am Dr. Kiran Gomes, an academician and researcher with over ten years of teaching experience in Commerce, Management, and Economics. I hold a Ph.D. titled “Ayurvedic Products: A Study on Consumer’s Perception and Choice of Selected Brands with Reference to Mumbai Metropolitan Region.” My research explores consumer behaviour, brand preference, and the rapidly growing market for Ayurvedic and wellness products in urban India. I have completed my M.Com, M.A. in Economics, and B.Ed., and I am also qualified in SET (Commerce) and CTET. My diverse academic background allows me to integrate concepts from commerce, economics, marketing, and consumer psychology in both teaching and research. Over the years, I have guided undergraduate students, delivered lectures in contemporary areas of commerce and management, and taken part in capacity-building and research methodology programmes.
