Biography

I am an experienced educator and researcher with over 15 years of dedicated service in the fields of teaching and research. Currently, I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Plant Biology and Plant Biotechnology at Guru Nanak College, Chennai. My academic journey began with a strong foundation in science, earning a B.Sc. in Botany and an M.Sc. in Microbiology from the University of Madras, followed by a Ph.D. in Botany in 2015. My career is defined by my commitment to innovative teaching methodologies, research excellence, and a passion for fostering academic growth. I have published over 52 research articles indexed in Scopus/Web of Science, authored 16 book chapters, and hold multiple patents, including a "Nano Drug Delivery Device for Cardiovascular Diseases." Additionally, I serve as a guest editor for the Frontiers in Plant Science journal and as a reviewer for several international journals.
