Biography

I am an Anthropologist specialized in International Migrations and Public Policies. My work focuses on international migration, borders, gender, and public policy. My current research explores forced migration from Central America to Spain, focusing on endemic violence, conflict, global interconnections and trafficking. I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Valladolid, and a researcher at the EMIGRA-CER Migration Research Group at UAB. I am also a collaborated Professor at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) in the Degree in Anthropology and Human Evolution, and a Visiting Professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Education

I hold a PhD in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and a BA in Anthropology from the National University of La Plata (Argentina)
