Biography
Ms. Foram Bhavsar is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Architecture & Planning, Nirma University. She completed her graduation from M.S.University, Baroda and Post Graduation from Dessau Institute of Architecture (Bauhaus), Germany. She started her career working with eminent Architects in Mumbai (SJK Architects) and Ahmedabad (Vastushilpa Consultants). She worked comprehensively on the varied typology of projects such as residential, institutional, Urban design etc. She has been associated with Academics since 2013. She has taught subjects like Design Studio, History of Architecture, Building Construction, Biomimetic Design etc. She has a keen interest in History of Architecture and Computational Design. Her research interest is inclined towards Computational design and processes. She has published papers in various national and international journals. She has co authored a book “ School design thinking Handbook - Compilation of institutional studio design process” .
