Biography
Holds a degree in Library Science and Documentation, and a Master's degree in Library Science from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas, SP. Doctorate in Communication Sciences from ECA/USP. Post-doctorate from the Carlos III University of Madrid, Spain. Professor in the undergraduate course in Library Science and Information Science at USP; Professor – Advisor in the Postgraduate Program in Information Science – PPGCI at ECA/USP. Research and teaching in the field of Bibliographic Information Processing on the following topics: Library Automation and Information Services; Bibliographic Formats; Descriptive Metadata; Descriptive Representation (Conceptual Models, RDA, BIBFRAME, AACR2); Digital Repositories; Artificial Intelligence in the context of recorded information.
