Biography
Felix Ogar TAKIM is an Associate Professor in the Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ilorin, Ilorin with 15 years of university teaching, research, and administrative experience. He has served as Head of the Department of Agronomy and Director of Unilorin Sugar Research Institute among others. His areas of research interest cover weed community composition, dynamics, and management in drought-prone environments. He has to his credit over forty publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals. He has successfully supervised master’s dissertations and PhD theses. Dr Takim is the current National Secretary of the Weed Science Society of Nigeria and a member of many other professional bodies within and outside Nigeria.
